Infiltrated

Standard

Devotion:  John 10:10

How does one man infiltrate a “secured establishment”; armed and ready to kill as many as possible;  in what formerly was one of the most secured nations in the world?

Much sadness and sorrow has fallen upon Orlando, Florida and our nation.  This morning; as I opened up a video; I saw before me, all the faces of the forty nine deceased young people. Their lives were snuffed out by one man who honestly thought he was pleasing his god.   Each life represents a family; who finds themselves in deep grief, after losing their child, brother, sister; daughter, son,  grandson, grand daughter, nephew, niece, cousin or friend.

My own son lost a friend in this tragedy.  Shawn graduated from Northwest High School in Concord, NC and played in the marching band with Justin.  His love of music had him on stage the night of the shootings.  Shawn also sang on the worship team at his church.

Jesus said it would be this way in the latter days.  Our world is infiltrated with great evil and people whose sole purpose is to bring mass destruction.  A group called Isis is out to destroy all who are not Muslim.

We find in Genesis 50:20  “But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive.”

The young people; whose lives were spared by the policeman who killed the mass murderer, will never be the same.   Will some come to a saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ? Please pray and ask God to show them the brevity of life. Appeal to the Lord to send Christians who are willing to minister the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

People need the Lord to infiltrate their lives.

Prayer in Motion:

Oh God, I cry out to You for divine infiltration upon the lives of those who were saved.  You spared those who still have the opportunity to come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.   Through the power of Your Holy Spirit; draw each one to Yourself.  I am begging You to use what Satan meant for evil; to turn it out for the salvation of those who are still alive.  In Jesus Name I offer up this prayer.  Amen
