Chaos and Confusion

Devotion: 1 Corinthians 14:33

God is not the author of chaos and confusion. Currently, our world is is full of both.  God says, “If any man lacks wisdom; let him ask of God who gives to all men liberally and without reproach.”

The United States is anything but united.  Individual states differ in their core beliefs.  The chasm between Republicans and Democrats grows wider and wider, especially during times of election.  What happened to One Nation under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all?

Have we taken the phrase liberty and justice a little too far?   What about liberties that go against the sanction of the Creator of our world?  Do the unborn have any rights?  What happen to marriage being solely between a man a woman?  These perpetrations do not lead to an ordered world.

Desperate times call for desperate measures.  Are you desperate for peace in your life personally, in the work place, in your family, or in your nation?

Although our world may be full of chaos and confusion; our soul does not have to be.  Jesus gave His life; so that you could have peace that surpasses all understanding.

You realize we are living in the latter days and latter day “stuff” is not easy.  It will get harder.  I am in no way suggesting that you stick your head in the sand.  Put your eyes and your head into the Word of God.  Pour into it and it will pour into you.  Peace of mind will over rule the chaos and confusion that desperately tries to steal your peace.

Prayer in Motion:

Lord Jesus thank You for making a way for peace in a world full of chaos and confusion.  Thank You for holding my hand and leading me onto paths of righteousness.  I love You Lord Jesus.  Amen
