Why Are You Here?

Standard

Devotion: Psalm 22:8

Were you born to be a good neighbor?  After all, the Bible says we should love our neighbor as ourselves.  Are you here to fulfill a certain role; such as mom, dad, daughter or son?  Why were you created?  Do you ever feel as if maybe you haven’t fulfilled God’s purpose for creating you?

You never have to doubt that you are here to fulfill a very specific purpose God has planned for you.  You are here to bring joy to the Lord. What a thought that your Creator joys in you.   He created you for His own good pleasure.  That is your chief reason for being born.

Do you bring pleasure to the Lord?  The Bible says:

                              “He delights in you.”

God delights in His creation.  You are “fearfully and wonderfully made.”  Precious child of the Most High God; you are cherished with an everlasting love. Cherished!  What does it feel like to be cherished?  You are the bride of Christ. Your Bridegroom waits, not just waits; longs to have fellowship with you, His creation.

Who brings doubt to your reason for being here?  It certainly isn’t your Creator.  It would be the enemy of your soul; you know the one who came to steal, kill and destroy.  Don’t listen to him. Speak the Name of Jesus because at the Name of Jesus, Satan has to flee.

God opens doors for you that no man can shut.  He goes before you and behind you.  Underneath you are His everlasting arms. God knew you before the foundation of the earth.  He knew the time in which He would place you.  He knew the family into which you would be birthed.

You never need doubt your Savior’s plan.  God; is why you are here.  What ever has happened; He has called and chosen you you for such a time as this.,  You are here with and on purpose.

Prayer in Motion:

God, thank You for creating me with and on purpose.  More than anything else in this world; I want to honor You in all that I say and do.  I want to be aboutYour business, fulfilling the purpose for which You created me.  In Jesus Name, I offer up this prayer.  Amen
